AI Search Visibility
Be Found Where Buyers Now Ask
A growing share of commercial research now ends inside an AI answer. Being the page that answer is built from is a different discipline from ranking — it depends on whether a machine can identify who you are, what you do, and why you are a credible source.
“Our rankings held. Our traffic did not.”
How you know
You probably have this problem if…
- Impressions flat or up, clicks meaningfully down
- Competitors get named in ChatGPT and Copilot answers and you do not
- Your best expertise lives in PDFs, decks and people's heads
- No structured data describing what your company actually is
The change
What the workflow looks like before and after.
Amber marks a step the system performs. Solid ink marks one a person still performs. The count above each column is how many steps still need someone's attention.

The system
What this looks like running in a business.
The same components we build with.
How a buyer's question becomes an answer
- Buyer asks a question
- Retriever crawls
Must be permitted
- Entity resolved
Who are you, exactly
- Passage selected
Depth beats coverage
- You are cited
Where sites fall out
- Retriever blocked in robots1Most common and entirely invisible until checked
- Entity ambiguous1Inconsistent naming, thin about page, no structured data
- No substantive passage1Thin keyword pages get skipped for one good source
3 items awaiting a person, grouped by cause so one decision clears a class rather than a case.
Tracked monthly, by surface
| Question | Surface | Cited |
|---|---|---|
| Where should my business start with AI | ChatGPT | Yes |
| AI automation cost for SMEs | Copilot | Yes |
| AI for logistics companies | Google AI | Not yet |
| Chatbot vs agent | Perplexity | Yes |
Nobody can guarantee appearance in a given AI answer. What can be done is removing the reasons you are currently uncitable, and measuring the change.
The work does not disappear. It moves — and the steps left are the ones that needed a person.

What we build
Four things, in this order.
An entity foundation
Consistent, structured, machine-readable description of the organisation, its services, its locations and its people — so systems can resolve who you are with confidence rather than inference.
Question ownership, not keyword volume
We target the specific commercial questions your buyers ask, answered properly enough to be worth citing. Thin keyword pages are exactly what gets skipped.
Crawl access for AI retrievers
Correct handling for the crawlers that feed AI answers, so the content you want surfaced is actually retrievable.
Visibility measurement across surfaces
Traditional rankings, AI-surface citations and assistant referral traffic tracked together — because optimising one while the other decays is the trap.
Boundaries
What stays with a person.
Agreed in writing before the build, not discovered afterwards.
- We do not publish volume content farms — thin pages actively harm entity credibility
- No fabricated statistics. Citation depends on a claim being checkable
- Claims about results are sourced or they do not ship
Integrations
We connect to what you already run.
Replacing a working system mid-transformation adds risk without adding value. If the existing tool genuinely cannot support the workflow, we say so at assessment rather than three months into a build.
- Google Search Console
- Bing Webmaster Tools
- GA4
- Schema.org / JSON-LD
- Screaming Frog
- Ahrefs / Semrush
Questions we get
Asked and answered.
Is 'GEO' a real discipline or repackaged SEO?
Mostly the second, with real additions. The fundamentals still decide it: crawlability, content in text, structured data, genuine expertise. What is genuinely new is entity clarity and measuring citation rather than position. Anyone selling you a secret AI schema is selling you nothing.
How fast does this move?
Slower than paid, comparable to good SEO. Entity credibility compounds over months. If a timeline sounds fast it usually involves volume publishing, which is the thing that damages the asset.
Can you guarantee we appear in ChatGPT answers?
No, and neither can anyone else — the retrieval is not ours to control. What we can do is remove the reasons you are currently unciteable, and measure the change honestly.
